Will a tragic accident affecting an entire community, prevent a woman on the edge of escape from finally being free?
A devastating plane crash affects an entire community and changes the course of Tammy’s life in an instant. After gaining the courage to leave her abusive relationship the call from her duty-bound world gets louder. Will responsibility to herself or duty to her young child and community win in the end? Will she ever be free?
This powerful and thought provoking one woman show uses immersive sound design to takes the audience on a journey through Tammy’s mind as she struggles with her emotions and decisions. It explores societal expectations of women and raises the question who should we really be living for?
Exploring the pressure on women in the 1960's to be the perfect housewives and mothers and challenging the audience to release their judgements and question their own morals and beliefs.

Watch 'Wrecked's' original devised monologue, inspired by the 1962 Orly plane crash in France killing 122 people, mostly from Atlanta. This monologue is the starting point for the play.
